Cigar Trophys 2011
The spectacular LAVO Nightclub in Las Vegas was the venue for the award of this year’s Cigar Journal Awards.
The Cigar Journal’s awards are regarded as the greatest accolade in the business, and in 2011 were awarded for the first time with a new design – as a crystal clear chaveta. The Torcedore’s knife symbolises the hard work that is invested in every cigar to bring it from the field to the humidor. This was the eleventh time that the trophies have been awarded since 1998. Just about every well-known cigar manufacturer and industry insider joined the celebrations at the popular LAVO nightclub in Las Vegas. Hollywood film producers, cigar distributors, and wholesale and specialist dealers from all over the world were also present. 17 prizewinners were honoured in Las Vegas, and they will also be introduced at the Inter-tabac trade fair in Dortmund in September, alongside yet more winners. Thank you for all the hard work!
