Willy Herrera Joins Drew EstateLast month we reported that Willy Herrera's production at El Titan de Bronze had increased with new orders from Miami Cigar & Co. His portfolio is now expanding further.June 29, 2011. Drew Estates, maker of Acid and Liga Privada, has hired Willy to work within its Nicaraguan facility to create his own blends and brands that will be sold by Drew Estates.During the upcoming year, Willy will be experimenting with tobaccos in Nicaragua and touring with Drew Estates' sales team. Following that, he is expected to release at least one new line made at the Nicaraguan facility for Drew Estates. In an interview with Willy last month, he revealed that this is the biggest thing he has ever undertaken in the cigar world. He is a self-taught cigar-maker and controls the entire pre-industry and cigar making activity in the cigar factory on Calle Ocho in Miami. In Nicaragua he will be working with the DE team. He revealed that he is looking forward to the challenge. |
