Because the company has beaten all its sales projections for the past year, AKA Cigars ("American Kick Ass Cigars") has announced an across the board price drop. Each of the company’s Hybrid and Respect lines will now have an MSRP of one dollar less per stick.AKA President Jay Lundy says, “We wanted to bring not only the best cigar but also the best value to our customers. As a result of surpassing our sales targets in the first year, we went back and renegotiated our pricing with the factory and now are passing those savings onto our loyal fans.” The AKA Hybrid, the medium-bodied smoke, will have new suggested retail prices of $7.50 for the “ABS” Corona (6” x 44) and “DEA” Rothchild (4.5” x 52). $8 for the “DNA” Robusto (5.5” x 50), $8.50 for the “ESP” Churchill (7.25” x 50), $9 for the “SOS” Super Toro (6.5” x 54) and $9.50 for the “MAD” Titan (6”x60). The AKA Respect is a full-bodied smoke and is designed to be a tribute to the US Military. AKA Cigars donates a percentage of sales from the Respect line to the Wounded Warrior Project. Respect also is adding two new sizes, the “Taps” Petit Corona for MSRP of $5.25 and “3-Volley Salute” Lancero for $8. |
